It's the smallest habits that will change your life. How you talk to yourself. How you prioritize your time. What you watch. What you read. Who you share your energy with. Who has access to you. We are focused on physical nourishment more than any other types of nourishment. However, our systems require a broader set of nourishments to achieve optimal health--and those nutrients include energetics.
Just like your body needs food, your body needs other forms of nourishment--and one type of nourishment you might be overlooking is energy.
Everything flows with energy.
We get energy from everything else we take in, but not all of the energy is helpful. Have you ever felt drained after a conversation with a friend? Has your mood shifted downward after listening to a song? Just like you consume food, you also consume energy. And just like you can either feel energized or sluggish after a meal, depending on what you eat, you feel energized or sluggish depending on the energy you consume as well.
We can make a choice to flow optimized nourishment of all types in our bodies to transmit and flow high-frequency vibration.
Your health is a physical in-bodyment of the energy you flow—how you think, feel and how you imbue energy into yourself and others. You likely avoid certain foods so that you feel your best. The next level of feeling your best is to follow an energy diet. Just like some people have a gluten allergy, think about the energetic allergies you have, and then treat them the same as you do food allergies.
It's customary in restaurants to be asked what allergies you have ahead of the chef preparing your meal. Many schools don't allow any students to bring foods with nuts onto their campuses to protect students with nut allergies. Allergies are something we as a society take precautions against. So, start noticing your energetic allergies and treat them the same as a severe nut allergy. Avoid them entirely, and without reservation.
Have a "friend" who only talks about herself, or takes little jabs at you and passes off her comments as jokes? Feel how your body feels after spending time with her. Are you a happier version of yourself, or do you feel depleted after spending time with her? Maybe a family member talks to you disrespectfully and you try to ignore it and power through--but that is like telling someone with a peanut allergy who eats a nut and cannot breathe to power through. If you feel anything less than wonderful, you are allergic to these interactions. If you have a nut allergy, you don't eat nuts and try to ignore the allergic reaction; you avoid nuts. You don't make excuses for the nut, you don't force yourself to be around the nut, you cut the nut out.
How do you feel listening to yourself? Did you know that 95% of our daily conversations are with ourselves? You can't avoid yourself. This is an opportunity to be your own biggest cheerleader and support system instead of abandoning yourself. See if your inner dialogue is causing an allergic reaction inside you, or if it is helping you thrive.
How about the media you consume? Do you watch true crime docuseries before bed and then wonder why you have sleep issues? You're allergic to filling your mind up with with violent, dangerous situations right before bed. Put yourself on a bedtime energetic diet and see how much deeper you sleep.
Nourish yourself with the every best energy available to you. Just like you nourish yourself with healthy food choices that respect your allergies, nourish yourself with healthy energetic choices and expand your allergy list to include energy allergies. Creating little habits around what energy you consume will have a huge impact on your energy and happiness.
